The Al Miyah Challenge is a program of The Mohamed bin Zayed Water Initiative (MBZWI), which aims to accelerate the development of technological breakthroughs and scalable innovations for a water-secure future. The Challenge program aims to support the development and testing of practical solutions that can be applied in the UAE and have the potential to be scaled-up and deployed in other water-stressed countries.
New Al Miyah Challenges will be launched on a regular basis, each focusing on a different theme with an estimated duration of 18 to 24 months. Challenges are open to participants from a wide range of sectors including academia, non-profit, start-ups, private sector businesses of all sizes, or a combination of the above.
